ASL Storytime
Day & Time: Mondays, 12:00pm-1:30pm
Grades: K-2nd
Teacher: Christina Walkenhorst
Cost: $205 ($175/semester + $30 material fee)
Students are introduced to American Sign Language through classic children’s stories brought to life with movement and expression. As they listen and participate, they will learn simple signs for characters, actions, and emotions.
This class is interactive and playful, with storytelling, songs, games, and crafts that help reinforce vocabulary and build confidence in using ASL.
Students stay actively engaged as they watch, sign, and respond to each story in a supportive and creative environment.
Parents stay connected through simple updates and optional practice ideas to continue learning at home.
