Grades: 3-5
Teacher: Rebecca Trapp
Cost: $225 ($175/semester + $50 material fee)

Students develop their drawing and painting skills through the creation of landscapes inspired by a variety of environments. Using watercolor and colored pencils, they will learn techniques for color use, composition, and adding detail to their work.

This class is hands-on and project-based, with students exploring environments such as oceans, forests, and other natural settings. Projects are guided by both instruction and student interest, allowing for deeper exploration of subjects like ocean life and specific habitats.

While students may view examples of artists’ work for inspiration, the focus is on developing their own style and creativity through structured projects.

Students build confidence as they refine their skills, experiment with techniques, and bring their ideas to life.

Supplies are included in the class fee.
