High School English: Writing & Rhetoric
Day & Time: Mondays, 12:00pm-1:30pm

Cost: $200 ($175/semester + $25 material fee)
.5 HS Credit: Fall Semester (English)
Students strengthen their writing and communication skills through structured writing, discussion, and debate. They will learn to organize and articulate their ideas clearly, support their thinking with evidence, and engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue.
This class is interactive and application-focused, with students practicing public speaking, participating in class debates, and developing formal written work. As part of the course, students will read a selected work and respond through writing, including a creative alternative ending project.
Parents stay connected through clear weekly guidance, supporting writing development and assignment progress at home.
This course is offered as a ½ credit per semester and may be taken for a full-year English credit.
