Middle School English: Writing & Communication
Day & Time: Thursdays, 12:00pm-1:30pm
Grades: 6-8
Teacher: Danita Taylor
Cost: $200 ($175/semester + $25 material fee)
Students strengthen their writing and communication skills through a mix of grammar practice, structured writing, and class discussion. They will learn how to build clear sentences, organize their thoughts, and develop ideas into a well-written paper.
This class is interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and preparing for an in-class debate that brings their learning together. Throughout the semester, students will also read and respond to a selected book.
Parents stay connected through clear weekly guidance, helping students complete light grammar work and support their writing at home.
Curriculum: Christian Light Education (CLE) LightUnits, along with a selected novel
