TriStar Cottage School is excited to once again host a full graduation ceremony for our local homeschool community!
We have been celebrating homeschool graduates since 2013, with past ceremonies honoring 20–30 seniors each year. You do not have to be a current TriStar member to participate. We welcome graduating seniors from throughout the homeschool community!
Graduation: May 22, 2027
Your graduation experience includes:
Full graduation ceremony
Personalized processional with graduate-selected music & slideshow
Invocation and TriStar speaker
Senior speaker
Parent diploma presentation
Traditional Pomp and Circumstance recessional
Graduation photos
Graduate display tables
Refreshments following the ceremony
Early Registration: $85
After April 1, 2027: $100
A Few Things to Know
Cap & Gown: Families will provide a black cap and gown for their graduate. We’ll provide an easy Amazon option that families can purchase on their own if needed.
Senior Slideshow: As graduation gets closer, parents will be asked to submit photos of their senior. These will be used to create the graduation slideshow shown during the ceremony.
Make the Processional Yours: Each graduate will also choose a section of a song to play during their individual processional. And we really do mean their song! Past choices have ranged from The Lion King to Coldplay, Travis Tritt to Metallica, Green Day to Dolly Parton.
We aren’t concerned about genre. Country, rock, pop, Broadway, Disney...it's your graduate's moment. We simply ask that the selected portion be family-friendly, with no profanity or inappropriate lyrics or innuendo.
One of our favorite parts of this ceremony is making sure each senior gets a moment that feels like them.
