Get ready to explore the amazing world of science through hands-on experiments, observation, and discovery! Using Crosswired's Wonders Activity Pak, students will investigate the fascinating principles that shape the world around them.

Each week, students will dive into a new scientific concept through interactive activities, guided experiments, and engaging discussions. They'll make predictions, observe results, ask questions, and discover how science explains everyday phenomena. Topics include diffraction and light, capillary action, magnets, density and buoyancy, air pressure, static electricity, chemical reactions, and many more exciting areas of science.

Simple observation and journal activities help reinforce concepts while giving students opportunities to reflect on what they have discovered.

Students bring stories to life by turning a children’s book into a live performance. As they read and explore each story, they will learn how to identify plot, characters, and key story elements.

This class is hands-on and creative, with students working together to adapt a story for the stage. They will help write scripts, plan scenes, design simple sets and costumes, and take on acting roles as they prepare for a final performance.

Students build confidence in reading, teamwork, and self-expression as they move from page to stage.

Art Through the Ages: A Hands-On Studio

 This class is designed as an introduction to art through both history and hands-on creation. Students will explore a variety of art time periods and artists while creating their own projects inspired by what they learn.

Using a range of materials such as mosaic tile, paint, canvas, and mixed media, students will experiment with different techniques and styles. Projects may include painting, basic sculpture, and design work, allowing students to build skills while expressing their creativity.

This is a project-based class where students will complete and take home a variety of finished pieces throughout the semester. No prior art experience is required, just a willingness to try new things and engage in the creative process. Students need a sketch journal to write and sketch ideas. Please bring a pencil box with pencils and colored pencils.

Bible Quiz Bowl

Dr. Digalot, an archaeologist and his sidekick Canteen the camel, invite you to join them in a journey through the book of Exodus, as we uncover stories about God bringing the Israelites out of slavery, and learn about Moses, the 10 plagues, the ark of the covenant and the building of the Tabernacle. We learn that God always keeps His promises.

As we travel through the book of Exodus, we will learn a memory verse, learn about God's characteristics, through games, crafts, stories, and hands-on learning experiences. This is a fun interactive way to learn a book of the Bible. Join us as we dig into the Word to discover biblical truths as we discover God's Holiness and love for the Israelites and for us.

For those who like extra challenges, we have competitions in the fall and spring where they earn ribbons, medals, and trophies in the finals.

Students explore the fundamentals of electronics through hands-on projects and real-world applications. They will learn about electronic components, measurement tools, circuits, transmitters, and antennas while building and testing their own projects.

In addition to in-class work, students will complete a self-paced online study program to prepare for the FCC Technician License exam. Passing this optional exam provides a 10-year, renewable license to operate on amateur radio frequencies, allowing students to communicate with other operators around the world.
